Definitely Maybe

While the name of this film sounds like a wishy washy excuse a beautiful woman gives a mediocre man as an answer to a date proposal the movie is anything but. Whiule the aforementioned woman is trying not to hurt the mans feelings in her answers the three woman in this movie are not as hampered in their answers to the man and there fore not as afraid to hurt his feeling.

Will Hays is a bachelor in love at the beginning of this movie. In love with his daughter. He loves her more deeply than anything in this world and is only willing to tell her the story of her mother through a series of women (Three to be exact) that he loved over the course of the 90’s. The movie is there fore a mystery/love story with a little drama as well as comedy thrown in to appeal to the entire audience.

The women in this movie all all beautiful and intriguing. Each one of them has a strong moral center and all three could be a perfect match to be Maya (Abigail Breslin) mother. As a male viewer i found it interesting that there was a blonde, Brunette and redhead. Not a one of them fulfilling the typical male stereo type associated with their perspective hair colors.

The Mystery of this movie is witch one is the mother , For whom does he actually love the most of all and last but not at all least which one does he end up with. (Hint: each previously proposed question may have a different answer.

This movie is heart warming and fun. It has many elements which may appeal to many different audience members. I dare propose that e *ach different person exiting the theater may get there own unique take on this intriguing movie.

While the previews of this movie may make it look like a chick flick or even a romantic comedy or perhaps even a kids film it was none of the above and all the above at the same time. This 34 year old Bachelor walked away form it satisfied and fulfilled. With an overwhelming sense of fulfillment. I don’t feel as if this movie were a waste of my time or money and i would gladly recommend it it a friend.

A note from an editor!

Hi Matthew,

Thank you for the time and effort you put into this piece, especially on a Saturday morning. I can tell you definitely took good notes of everything that was going on during the event!

We still have some work to do before this piece is ready to print. Your piece has a lot of information, but it doesn’t sound like a news article. What was the point of his speech/presentation? Why was he addressing this audience? What is Vanguard? What does the company do – who does it serve? You spend a lot of time narrating (for example, how he was injured), but did not report on the purpose of the event. You can maybe mention his appearance/joking about it in a sentence or two, but do not take several paragraphs to do so. Also, I like how you mentioned where the name “Vanguard” comes from.

There are a lot of spelling errors in this piece – make sure you proof read each sentence carefully.

I know I am getting back to you a little later I hoped, and I’m sorry about that! But if you have time tonight, please go through my suggestions and try to rework your piece. You can send me what you have tonight/tomorrow morning. Please bring a copy of it to the meeting tomorrow and we will discuss it further from there.

Once again, thanks for your hard work and promptness! Remember this is a learning process, and we are all part of the Waltonian team!

Talk to you soon!
